Keanu Reeves Says ‘He Doesn’t Know’ If Constantine Sequel Is Happening

Keanu stated that he does not know whether or not Constantine 2 will take place under James Gunn‘s leadership at the DCU.

Keanu Reeves starrer Constantine sequel is one of the most awaited sequel in Hollywood. Constantine 2 was recently teased and the buzz surrounding it was confirmed by Keanu himself when he recently told fans that they had their hopes for a sequel too tightly wound.

In an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com, Reeves indicated that he currently doesn’t know if the sequel will ultimately happen. “I was hoping it would, but we don’t know,” Reeves explained in the interview.

Long before it was a trend to enter into this superhero world, Keanu did Constantine (2005), which is one of the superhero of DCU. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel for almost two decades and finally last year, it was reported that Francis Lawrence who helmed the first film, would be in charge, with Reeves returning.

And earlier this week, Keanu Reeves confirmed that he has had conversations with James Gunn, which fans speculated was for Constantine 2. But Keanu Reeves has now broke many hearts by stating that he does not know whether or not Constantine 2 will take place under James Gunn‘s leadership at the DCU.

For the unversed, Constantine is an American superhero horror film directed by Francis Lawrence. Written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello, the film is loosely based on DC Comics’ Hellblazer comic book.

Meanwhile, Keanu is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film John Wick: Chapter 4. Directed by Chad Stahelski, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4 will land in theatres in India on March 24.
