Katy Perry REVEALS How She Handling Her Pregnancy Amid The Lockdown

Earlier this year singer Katy Perry surprised her fans by announcing her pregnancy. Katy first released the video of her song ‘Never Worn White’ in which her fans show her flaunting her baby bump. Soon after the song release she took to her Instagram and in a live session confirmed the news of her pregnancy. The Roar singer and her fiancé Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together and it’s a baby girl. Katy always wanted to become a mother and she is over the moon by the news. However, just like any other pregnant lady, Katy too also has to deal with ups and downs of being pregnant. In her recent interaction, Katy revealed how is undergoing hormonal changes and mood swings during the pregnancy. The 35-year old singer said that it is difficult to adjust to the quarantine routine and lifestyle while being pregnant. Katy said that she has “give good days” and other days that are tough. Katy added, “Where I cry when I look down at my toes or I cry when just doing simple tasks.” The world-renowned singer then went on to say, “I think a lot of that is hormonal and I’m not used to being around so many people all in a confined (or) a small space for so long. I’m used to going (out) all the time.” Katy further also mentioned that how much she values her alone time and because of the stay-at-home order enforced amid the COVID-19 pandemic there’s nowhere she can go. She explained, “There is not really anywhere to go besides my car. So I go to my car a lot. That is my safe space.” A couple of days back Katy also had mentioned how much she misses drinking alcoholic beverages during pregnancy and how she is coping with it. She also addressed the fact that she might not be able to throw a baby shower for her close friends and family in the midst of the global pandemic.
