In a recent interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the 37-year-old pop star laughed off the suggestion. The California Gurls singer then said that Covid-19 has been playing havoc with the couple’s wedding plans. “We’re still trying to work out destination/location,” she told listeners cheerfully. “Every couple of months there’s a ‘new variant’, ‘new variant’, ‘new variant.'”

Host Kyle Sandilands teased the celebrated pop star by asking her cheekily whether it’s all been about dragging out their engagement story. Katy laughed and said that once the pandemic flattens out, it will be time to party. Katy is scheduled to begin her Las Vegas residency in March.
