Katy Perry Is Set To Leave ‘American Idol’ After Producers Shown Her As A “Nasty Judge”

Singer Katy Perry has been a judge on American Idol for six seasons, but her journey may be coming to an end as she quits the show. The singer has had several viral moments on the show, which has led to negative views and publicity about her, due to which she has had to face many disputes. If the recent reports are to be believed, then she might be considering quitting the show.

According to the Daily Mail, Perry believes she has been repeatedly “thrown under the bus by producers” who make her look like the “nasty judge” in the reality show. She feels like her comments could have been removed. According to the publication, Perry may have a unique sense of humour that doesn’t always transfer well on camera, but the singer never intends any harm.

The insider said facing so much criticism really upset her, and she was just trying to do her job. The singer has achieved so much in her career and is now being looked at as a nasty judge on a reality show. 

Perry’s most recent controversy was in April, when the audience bullied her for her remarks. She was booed for bashing contestant Nutsa Buzaladze’s glitter outfit. Before this incident, Katty was criticised for mom shaming Sara Beth Liebe. When the contestant said she had three kids before turning 25, the Fireworks singer made a joke about her laying on a table for too long.
