Karl Urban is really grateful to the Indian audience for enjoying and appreciating the superhero series, The Boys.
In an interview, Karl said, “I would love to make a general shoutout from not only me, but the entire team at The Boys to thank India for their support.”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that it is a hit in India, and we certainly cannot wait to make more of ‘The Boys’ for you. Thanks again for your support, we really greatly appreciate it.”
Talking about his character of Billy Butcher, Urban earlier told, “Billy Butcher is a fun character to play. He is one of those characters who lives life on the edge. He does things that many of us wish we could do. He is cheeky and very dangerous. So, I have a lot of fun playing the character.”
The Boys is a fun and impudent take on what happens when superheroes that are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as respected as Gods abuse their powers rather than use them for good.
Talking about the season 2 of The Boys, Urban had earlier said, “I think season 2 was always going to be a challenge after Season 1. Eric Kripke came to us and said, ‘Listen okay, the show has gone down really really well. We have an amazing fan base. It would be a mistake for us to try and go out there and just try and go bigger for the sake of going bigger. What we need to do is go deeper and really sort of explore the nature of these characters and how they came to be the way they are.’ And you know season 2 rips away the element from every character that they’re most passionate about and shows how they deal with ita So, every character is dealing with this internal conflict.”
