Kanye West’s Yeezy To Enter Cosmetics Business; Could Be Threat To KKW Beauty And Kylie Cosmetics

Kanye West has just filed a Yeezy trademark that includes cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, and more. Now he will be competing with wife Kim Kardashian and SIL Kylie Jenner.

The KarJenner family has yet another beauty mogul! According to reports, Kanye West filed for a Yeezy trademark on June 2, to cover a wide amount of essential cosmetics, skincare, and self-care, potentially turning his high-fashion brand into an empire.

Apparently, Kanye’s Yeezy expansion will deliver everything a beauty fanatic may need.

However, just because Kanye filed to trademark such a large variety of items doesn’t mean anything will include in the upcoming Yeezy collection. He’s just thinking about his options. The Yeezy brand also features products such as scented pinecones, potpourri, scented ceramic stones, and baby wipes, in addition to cosmetics and skincare.

Well, Kanye has some healthy rivalry as wife Kim Kardashian 39, runs the immensely popular company KKW Beauty, which started with her glamorous, bestselling fragrances. In May 2019 she even published a special line called the Mrs. West Collection.

There is Kylie Cosmetics too. Sister-in – law Kylie Jenner,22, became the youngest self-made billionaire in the world after launching her make-up company in 2014, and Kylie Skin was a mega success at the launch, much like Kylie Cosmetics — so Kanye still has some strong competition in that area.

Meanwhile, It is not his first dabble in the cosmetics industry, however. In 2017 the rapper filed for a trademark DONDA cosmetics brand, named after his mother but never followed through with the company’s creation.
