The tattoo reads, “We Here Forever Technically.” The photo was tweeted by L.A.-based tattoo artist Mez Afram in the early hours of August 9. Steve, 24, Uzi, 27, and Ye, 45, pose in front of the mirror with their arms spread, as Mez, wearing wrap-around YZYGAP sunglasses, shoots the shot. Steve, who modelled the YZYGAP sunglasses on Instagram, posted the photograph along with clarification of what the writing says.
Steve, who just released the critically acclaimed Gemini Rights, took part in Ye’s Donda countdown Livestream event in 2021, telling GQ that it “was cool, it was cool.” However, according to All Hip-Hop, Lil Uzi Vert and Ye haven’t always been the best of friends. Uzi and Ye have had disagreements, with Uzi declaring in 2020 that Ye “ain’t f with [him]” when someone accused Uzi of being upset because he was left off Donda.
In 2021, Uzi referred to Ye as a “false pastor.” In a group chat message, Uzi allegedly insulted Donda, claiming that the album’s lineup “sounds like the all-star game.” Ye and Uzi appear to have buried the past. He also mocked his once-friend, now-rival Kid Cudi following the Rolling Loud incident (Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers). While Ye’s millions of admirers rejoiced over the separation, Kim Kardashian was “furious” over his post. A source told HollywoodLife that Kim, 41, demanded Kanye remove the tweet regarding Pete.
Kim couldn’t believe Ye “would do something like that after promising her he would try to do better. The last thing she needs is more drama in her life, particularly coming from Kanye.” If Ye believed that this split was his opportunity for reconciliation, Kim has no interest in saving the marriage, a Kardashian insider told HollywoodLife. The insider informed the outlet that “the divorce will be finalised soon” and added, “She is not getting back with him.”
