Kanye West is stepping up to support the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, three of the innocent black Americans whose killings have sparked national outrage. TMZ reveals that West gave the three families $2 million, including opening up a college fund for Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter Gianna.West also made a separate contribution for Taylor’s legal bills, shot dead in her Louisville, Kentucky, house, and Arbery by police, brutally murdered by white men while jogging in Brunswick, Georgia.West’s contributions come after fans and artists have criticized major labels and streaming platforms for a lack of public contributions to causes of social inequality and involvement in anti-racist activism.
