Justin Bieber Shares Health Update Following Ramsay Hunt Syndrome Diagnosis

Justin Bieber posted an Instagram story on 15th March saying, “wait for it” showing his health condition after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

Justin Bieber reached out to his fans on Wednesday on Instagram to share his health update nine months after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, the singer posted a story on Instagram showing the mobility of his face, he moved his eyes side to side and smiled while the song “Ice T” was played in the background, he wrote on the story “Wait for it”. 

Justin first shared the news of his health in June 2022, if you are following the singer for a while you might know this. Following this, he was forced to pause his Justis World Tour.

As per Mayo Clinic, the disease occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of the ears. Apart from facial paralysis, it can also cause hearing loss and requires quick treatment. According to the clinic to avoid further complications the disease should be treated quickly “the risk of complications, which can include permanent facial muscle weakness and deafness.”

Last year when Justin shared the news of his condition with his fans, he revealed that he is not able to blink his eyes, nor able to smile on one side of his face and he was also unable to move his nostril.

In the video, the singer said, “This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but obviously, my body is telling me I got to slow down, and I hope you guys understand, and I’ll be using this time to rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so that I can do what I was born to do,” he added, “facial exercises to get my face back to normal.”

In July the singer resumed his world tour after announcing his health condition and performed in six different shows, before calling it quits on the World Tour. He shared a statement on an Instagram story: “This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio, and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better.” Justin further: “I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!”
