Kanye West was rumored to be trying to make his estranged wife Kim Kardashian ‘jealous’ when he began his brief romance with Julia Fox. And now, the Uncut Gems star has thrown some facts behind that claim.
In an unearthed Instagram comment from Fox that was captured by HollywoodUnlocked, the rising star explains how the rapper had encouraged her to reveal details about their relationship. A fan had blasted Fox in a comment telling her, “You talked about the man in the press like you all were married. Just desperate for the attention. Wasn’t even 15 mins, maybe like 2 mins of fame.”
However, Julia Fox clapped back at the troll, writing, “He f***ing wanted me to!!!!” After West and Fox struck up a romance at the beginning of the year, sources claimed it was a ploy to make his ex ‘jealous.’ “Kanye is trying to make Kim jealous by being very public with Julia,” one source claimed to Entertainment Tonight. “He is trying to make a point. Julia thinks Kanye is really cool and is also just enjoying the ride while it lasts.”

Although, things imploded between Fox and West just as the rapper began to publicly declare his wish to one day reunite with his estranged wife. He also made threats to Kardashian’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson and then sent her roses to her LA home, despite her filing for divorce from West last year. Meanwhile, Fox confirmed her split with Ye in an Instagram post on Monday.
Kanye and Julia met on New Year’s Eve and then moved at warp speed into a full-blown relationship, with the actress even penning an essay about their romance. Doubling down on her denial of being upset, Julia added, “and for the record, the only time I cried in 2022 was on Feb 6th on my dead BFF bday.” Julia was referring to the tragic death of good friend and celebrity manager Chris Huvane.
