Almost a year ago, the news of Kylie Jenner’s then BFF Jordyn Woods cheating with Khloé Kardashian’s now ex Tristan Thompson, the father of her baby True Thompson made headlines.
An insider who’s a close friend of Woods recently spoke to a news portal about where the 22-year-old former endorser of the Good American stands on the issue today and revealed she is done discussing the issue and is no longer in touch with Kylie or the Kardashians.
“Jordyn’s position now is she’s going to just let it be what it is,” the insider revealed. “She said what she had to say.”
After the news of the cheating broke out, Khloé tweeted regarding the matter. Jordyn, too, wanted to share her side of the story for which she appeared on family friend Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show Red Table Talk which garnered massive public attention. In the talk show, Woods try to clear all the rumours about cheating with Tristan Thompson, which enraged Khloé Kardashian (in an episode of KUWTK) as she accused Jordyn or trying to play the victim after “wrecking her home.”
“I was drunk,” Woods said on the talk show explaining her side. “I was not tipsy, I was drunk. But I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But, on the way out [of Tristan’s house] he did kiss me. No passion, no nothing. On the way out he just kissed me. It was a kiss on the lips. No tongue kiss, no making out. Nothing. I don’t think he’s wrong either, because I allowed myself to be in this position.”
Since then Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner have broken their friendship with no intention of mending it. Although the two ex-BFFs were spotted having brekkie together at a Calabasas restaurant Pedalers Fork last May, they no longer remain friends.
A little after meeting for breakfast, Woods showed up at Jenner’s mansion to take her stuff and move out. On an episode of KUWTK the makeup mogul cried and express how hurt she felt watching her former best friend moving out with “hurt in her eyes,” on a phone call with Khloé to which Koko said “she wrecked my home!.”
After all the drama, Jordyn Woods hosted a super-fun Pajama Party on New Year Eve as she bid goodbye to the emotional rollercoaster that was 2019. The invitees of the party were Jordyn’s close pals, who cheered her on as she twerked her way into the new decade. “The hostess is the mostest,” a friend of the 22-year-old captioned the video of her twerking. Woods appeared super happy and pumped in the video which seems like an indicator that she is letting go of her past in the last decade and is all set to make new memories in the new one.
The new decade starting with the year 2020 will hopefully give Jordyn a brand new start after all the drama that surrounded her in 2019. In the month of February last year, Jordyn allegedly “made out” with her best friend Kylie Jenner’s half-sister Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson at a house party in Los Angeles. After the word got out, Khloe broke off her relationship with the NBA star with whom she shares a daughter True Thompson.
After much speculation, Khloe finally broke her silence and clarified, “I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time,” She further added, “What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault.”
Even though Koko didn’t blame Jordyn for her breakup, she did drop her as one of the brand ambassadors of her clothing line Good American. The whole Kar-Jenner family, including BFF Kylie Jenner, cut ties with Woods and she had to move out from Kylie’s guest house.
On the video of Jordyn twerking on NYE, a fan commented, “I love how she’s become more of herself since the split with her bestie”, while another wrote, “She was the ultimate glow-up of 2019. She deserves.”
