Johnny Depp’s Ex Kate Moss Expected To Testify In Amber Heard Trial

Things already seem to be in favour of Johnny Depp as he is receiving more support than Amber Heard in this never-ending lawsuit.

Many celebrities have already testified in court in favour of Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, Johnny’s ex-girlfriend, will testify in the trial. According to the New York Post, Kate Moss will finally explain things from her own perspective this week when she will testify in Depp’s $100 million defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Kate will not be physically present in court but is expected to appear in court via video link on Wednesday in Fairfax, Virginia. Depp’s lawyers are already of the opinion that Kate’s testimony in court will prove to be in their favour. The lead counsel for the Black Mass star fist-bumped the other attorney after Heard mentioned Moss during testimony, earlier in May. Depp will now have the opportunity to eliminate a rumour that he shoved Kate down a flight of stairs while they were together in the 1990s.

Heard previously mentioned Kate while referring to an alleged altercation she had with Depp in March 2015, during which she thought he might push her sister Whitney down the stairs. “(Whitney) threw herself in the line of fire. She was trying to get Johnny to stop. Her back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her. I don’t hesitate and wait… I instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs,” Heard testified in early May.

She added, “He pushed Kate Moss down the stairs, I heard this from two people, and this was fresh in my mind. I reacted in defence of my sister. I had for years been Johnny’s punchbag but for years I never hit him. It was the first time after all these years that I struck him back.” Moss’ future testimony is definitely going to be positive for Johnny since she has only spoken favourably of him since the breakup.

She had once said, “There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!” Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018 claiming to be a victim of domestic abuse. The Aquaman actress has decided to countersue Depp for $100 million.
