Vin Diesel recently made a public announcement about Cardi B starring in Fast & Furious 9 and fans are here for it. He shared a video on his Instagram where he confirmed the rapper’s addition to the Fast & Furious family and many were taken by surprise. Even wrestler-actor John Cena, who will be seen making his debut in the ninth instalment of Fast & Furious admitted that to was surprised by the news.
John Cena who was recently seen walking the red carpet of his upcoming release Playing With Fire with girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh spoke about Cardi B’s appearance in the movie. He admitted that he was surprised but also stated that she’ll add a great flavour to the franchise. He said, “I think that is what’s great about the franchise, their ability to always keep it entertaining for their audiences…[Their audience] spans the globe and it’s a multi-cultural franchise that always prides itself on its diversity.”
On being asked if he knew about the role Cardi B would be seen playing the film, he played coy. He said, “Cardi B is a wonderful add. I have no idea what she’s doing. My stuff is secretive and everyone else’s is as well, but I think it’s a wonderful addition to the franchise. I already know the movie is going to be really phenomenal.”
Another actor who is in talks to join the Fast franchise is Keanu Reeves. Chris Morgan, screenwriter and producer of the upcoming ‘Fast & Furious’ film is reportedly trying to bring Keanu, but they have not been able to do it due to to a busy schedule.
