Singer Joe Jonas is planning a special date surprise for his wife Sophie Turner on their first wedding anniversary. The lovebirds exchanged vows last year on May 1 in Los Angeles. The couple later had a bigger ceremony in France but it seems like they won’t be able to make their first anniversary grand amid the lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak.
Joe and Sophie can neither take a trip to a lush location nor go out for a romantic dinner as several parts of the world are caught in the clutches of the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, if the speculations are true then Joe Jonas is doing everything he can to make the day special for Sophie.
On his recent interaction with James Corden the host of The Late Night Show with James Corden, Joe talked about marrying the love of his life, Sophie Turner. He said, “We legally got married in Vegas. So it’s our Vegas anniversary. And we used to be the couple that every few days we would celebrate. So it would be like we’ve been dating for a week, we’d have a party or big dinner… We were that nauseating couple. But now I think we’ve chilled out quite a bit.”
Joe then further added they would have gone back to Los Angeles for their first year anniversary if they were not quarantined and also revealed that he planning to recreate Vegas at their place. He said, “I think we would’ve gone back to Vegas if we weren’t quarantined, so if you can keep a secret, I would say I’ve tried to recreate Vegas in our house. I have a DJ set up, we could do a nightclub.”
Well, that’s very romantic of Joe to surprise his wife Sophie in such a manner and we hope that their wedding anniversary is as beautiful as their relationship always has been.
