The Venice Film Festival hosted the much-anticipated premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the Oscar-winning 2019 film Joker. Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, the film delves deeper into the psychological complexities of Gotham’s most notorious villain, this time introducing a musical twist.

On working with Phoenix, Gaga said “I enjoyed it, and it was a completely different experience than I’ve ever had with another actor. He’s incredibly loose and free.”
