Jennifer Lopez is ready to walk down another trip down the aisle. While talking about her new rom-com, Marry Me, Jennifer told the Today show that she is open to getting married again.
However, when the co-host Hoda Kotb asked whether she would like to hear the two words ‘Marry me’ in the future, Lopez jokingly said, “I don’t know. Yeah, I guess. I mean, you know me. I’m a romantic. I always have been. I’ve been married a few times.” Lopez also said that she still believes in happily ever after, for sure. Lopez continued, “I still believe in happily ever after, for sure. One hundred percent.”
For unversed, the Hustlers actress has been married three times. Jennifer Lopez was first married to Ojani Noa in 1997 and got divorced in 1998, then Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and most recently, to Marc Anthony, whom she wed in 2004 and divorced in 2014. However, she is currently dating Ben Affleck. The couple was previously engaged in 2002 but later split in 2004.
Although, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, 49, have been linked since this past summer when the couple traveled across Europe and celebrated her birthday. Additionally, the couple later made their first red carpet appearance together, since reuniting in September. However, according to People, a source previously stated that Affleck and Lopez are “in it for the long run” and have been getting to know each other’s children.
Ben Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, daughters Violet Anne, 15, and Seraphina Rose, 12, and son Samuel, 9. Meanwhile, Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 13, with Anthony. Talking of Lopez’s children, a source told the outlet in June, “They are slowly getting to know Ben. Everything seems to be running smoothly. It’s very obvious that Jennifer is serious about Ben. She hasn’t looked this happy for a long time.”
While appearing on Today Thursday, Lopez unveiled the first trailer for her upcoming rom-com Marry Me, which she stars in alongside Owen Wilson. Lopez plays Kat Valdez, a popular singer who marries single dad Charlie Gilbert (played by Wilson, 53), on a whim when she finds out her fiancé (Maluma) cheated on her. Marry Me will premiere in theaters on February 11, 2022.
