Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are officially divorced now! The exes who rekindled their romance in 2021, have officially been granted the divorce by the court, as reported by multiple sources. The judgment from the court comes nearly 20 weeks after Jennifer Lopez had originally filed for the dissolution of her marriage. The couple held a two year long marriage after they re-entered their relationship by getting married in an intimate ceremony in July 2022.

Prior to that, the couple first met each other in 2002. Later, the two got engaged but broke their engagement in 2004 to lead a life of their own, with their respective partners. However, when the two reconciled again in 2021, the bond could only last for two years. Jennifer turned out to be the one initiating the divorce. Mentioning the date of separation as April 26, 2023, Lopez cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. During the same, the actress also requested to get her original name Jennifer Lynn Lopez to be restored after the divorce.
According to the settlement, both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will retain the earnings they individually acquired during their time together. Despite their split, Lopez and Affleck have maintained a cordial relationship, often seen attending family events together. The couple will continue to co-parent their kids, despite the separation, ensuring they stay happy.
