Jennifer Lopez has recently confirmed her engagement to beau Ben Affleck. The actress and singer shared a video of herself crying and looking at her engagement ring on her official website. In the 13 second clip, Jennifer showed off the stunning sparkling engagement ring, However, there’s no sign of Jennifer Lopez’s fiance Ben Affleck. The video started off with a black screen with a view of her ring first before the camera moves up to her face.
The mother of two is visibly wiping away tears of joy as she stares at her emerald and diamond ring. Jennifer can be heard whispering, “I am perfect” in the song that played along with the video. Jennifer Lopez also teased the “major announcement” with a video on Twitter. “So I have a really exciting and special story to share…” Lopez told her followers. She also added a diamond ring emoji to her Twitter handle.
However, this marks the second time that Jennifer and Ben got engaged. For unversed, Ben and Jennifer first started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli. They soon became engaged and were set to get married in September 2003, but postponed their wedding and eventually broke up in January 2004. Meanwhile, last year in April the lovebirds rekindled their romance.

The couple’s relationship came as a shock to fans, heating up again nearly 17 years after their failed engagement. Meanwhile, Affleck most recently showed support for his wife-to-be, cheering her on with his son Samuel and her daughter Emme as Lopez accepted the Icon Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March. Lopez recently told People what makes their connection different now compared to 18 years ago, saying, “We’re older now.”
The actress went on to say, “we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.” The Marry Me actress shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck shares three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
