Jennifer Garner recently up for the new Teenage Dirtbag challenge trend as she took to her Instagram and shared a series of throwback photos from her teen years in a video. The clip starts from the photo of herself standing in front of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, set to a sped-up version of the 2000 Wheatus song. The video then moves through some hilarious retro photos of Garner practising the saxophone, doing ballet and playing Dorothy in a staged production of The Wizard of Oz, among other fond adolescent memories.
The Gloden Globe winner actress penned “My ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ photos’ on the video. Along with the fans, her friends showered love in the comment section. Garner’s longtime friend, Aisha Tyler, wrote in the caption, ‘No dirtbag detected.’ Garner, who celebrated her 50th birthday in April, previously said she “can’t wait” to celebrate the milestone birthday with her family.
In a previous interview, Garner shared, “I turn 50… yeah, Easter Sunday. My family has tickets to come out. My parents and my sisters, nieces, and nephews. I don’t know what we’ll do, but I can’t wait. We’re gonna have a good time.” Jennifer Garner received an early birthday surprise from legendary singer Donny Osmond. Garner took to Instagram to share a video in which she appears to be in awe as she watches a video of Osmond singing to her for her special day.
Osmond then suddenly pops up behind her to complete the tune in person. Garner then stands and hugs him as he presents her with a cake that reads ’13 going on 50,’ a nod to her popular movie, 13 Going on 30. The two go on to sing a duet together before Garner covers her face with a napkin, seemingly still in shock over the moment. Alongside the video, Garner wrote, “My first (pre) birthday surprise was a doozy, the one and only, a legend in his own time, an object of my childhood adoration and devotion @donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off.”
