Jennifer Aniston Posts A Sweet Birthday Tribute For Lisa Kudrow

As Lisa Kudrow celebrated her 59th birthday, Jennifer Aniston paid her a moving tribute. Lisa Kudrow is a friend and a former co-star on Friends.

On her 59th birthday, Jennifer Aniston gave her closest pal Lisa Kudrow the greatest tribute on social media. The 53-year-old Jen shared several flashback images over the years, one of which was from the 29th People’s Choice Awards in 2003. “Happy birthday @lisakudrow,” she said, followed by “I love you,” over a funny GIF of the two cheering as Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay from Friends. Jen kissed Lisa on the forehead in the final shot.

Courteney Cox, who plays Rachel and Phoebe’s on-screen best friend Monica, also posted a sweet picture. In the Instagram story video, Court, 58, and Lisa could be seen laughing together as the actress wrote, “Happy Birthday loot… You make everything better. And funnier!” Lisa, Jennifer, and Courteney started working on Friends with their male co-stars David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry in 1994.

Since then, the three have maintained a strong friendship. The ten-season series, which ended in 2004 after a decade on NBC, saw the characters age from their early 20s to their 30s. Off-screen, it was well known that Lisa, Jen, and Court were best friends in real life and this hasn’t changed in 19 years. The long-awaited HBO Max reunion saw the original cast finally get together after multiple delays, as they reminisced about filming the programme and went on a trip down memory lane.

The event was originally scheduled for 2020, but COVID-19 limitations did not prevent it from happening then. In the end, the group decided against doing a Zoom virtual version in order to offer fans the true special they deserved.

Although Jen and Courteney frequently see each other, Lisa mentioned in advance of the programme that it has been a long since all six of the friends were together. “We haven’t all been in the same room in front of people I mean, we have privately once many years ago but that’s it. The whole point of this is to be in the same room. That hasn’t changed. And HBO Max is being phenomenally patient and understanding,” Lisa explained.
