American actress Jennifer Aniston used her celebrity power Thursday to brighten up the day of a frontline coronavirus worker who tested the COVID-19 positive. Aniston pleased her with a gift card of $10,000.

The 51-year-old actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a surprise guest according to Fox News! To surprise a Utah cardiovascular nurse, who contracted the novel virus. Called Kimball Fairbanks, Kimmel welcomed the nurse to the show with a live video chat. The nurse, who is a mother of two, said she started to feel sick a couple of days after working a shift last week at her hospital.

Fairbanks said, “I kind of felt like I got hit by a train. But I think I just have really mild symptoms. I feel like I have a head cold combined with the flu. It feels decently manageable so that’s good. ” Kimmel told Fairbanks that she was preparing a surprise to cheer her up.   Seconds later, Aniston showed up from home on the screen.

Aniston said, “Hi, honey, it’s so good to meet you. I just have to say, God bless you and all of you that are out there doing what you’re doing. I just, I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing, putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.” To which Kimball replied, who was in a state of shock with a wide smile on her face and hand on her chest, “Wow it’s so good to meet you. I really appreciate that.”

Aniston has asked Fairbanks about how she feels. In which she responded, “I woke up today and decided I’m not going to be sick any longer.” Fairbanks explained that she has been furloughed from work at the hospital because of her positive test result. She is currently in quarantine and can not be close to her family for two weeks, including her 4-year-old and 18-month-old daughters.

To which Kimmel added that each nurse on the floor of Fairbanks will also receive Postmates gift cards Jennifer also told Kimmel of what is going on inside her Los Angeles home and announced that she hadn’t left the house for “three weeks.”
