Jason Momoa is currently shooting the highly anticipated scenes for Fast and Furious upcoming tenth instalment. But recently, he shared an Instagram post that made a stir on the internet. Momoa’s recent Instagram post suggests that had taken a knock on the set with the actor’s head in a brace as he prepared for an MRI scan.
Momoa didn’t specify what happened to him, leaving fans confused. Alongside the snap, in which the Aquaman star lay prostate outside the cylindrical scanner, he wrote, “You got to break some eggs to make an omelette. aloha j. thankful for my ohana and friends.” His post prompted some concern from his family friends in the comments section, including Octavia Spencer. “Oh no!” his Justice League costar Gal Gadot wrote with a red heart emoji. “Oh no! You alright dude?” Candy actor Pablo Schreiber commented. “Oh lord, what now,” wrote Jill Wagner.
Jason Momoa’s followers also showed concern in the comment section with one commenting: ‘Oh no! You alright dude?’ A second added: ‘Hope the doctors find the problem and can help fix it!! Sending healing vibes.’ Elsewhere a third wrote, ‘Hopefully, this is a scene from a new movie… if not, prayers up!!! Much love, aloha!’ While the actor offered no additional context, he previously admitted to taking on many of his own daredevil stunts including one that involved a recent motorcycle chase through the streets of Rome.
Speaking about his latest role with Entertainment Tonight, he said, “It’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while. “Now, I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache!” The actor also suffered a series of injuries while filming his lead role in DC Comics adventure Aquaman and its recent sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. He told Ellen DeGeneres, “I messed up my eyes. I just got something in it that kinda cut it up, and then I’ve gotta get surgery. I have a hernia, I’ve got ribs out. I’m just getting beat up.”
When asked why he keeps getting injured during filming, the actor pointed to his enthusiasm for work as the main cause. “I just kinda give it,’ he said. ‘I love my job and I get a little too excited. The age thing. I’m an ageing superhero now.” Momoa has kept busy over the last few years, but he also has a number of upcoming projects in the pipeline. The actor has already completed filming for The Last Manhunt, the story of a Native American couple that goes on the run after one commits murder for love.
