“James Cameron Is Not Good With His Crew,” Said Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Stunt Double

Peter Kent Arnold's stunt double has good memories with the actor but his work experience with James Cameron was far from being Ok.

The mastermind of the Titanic and Avatar series James Cameron, who spawned hit projects is also known for his hot temper. There have been many instances of complaints being filed against the director for misconduct towards the cast and crew. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stunt double once talked about what it was like working with the director and revealed he’s not a great communicator.

Peter Kent was Arnold’s stunt double in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While his relationship with the actor was memorable, it was his work experience with James Cameron that was far from being Ok.

In an interview with I News, Peter Kent spoke about Arnold Schwarzenegger and shared: “When I worked with him, we were together almost 24/7. I’m one of the few guys who can say I trained with him every day. As the conversation continued, he added his bitter experience of working with James Cameron.

Stuntman Peter Kent added that James Cameron had communication problems because he felt the cast and crew understood him without him telling the crew what to do next. He had revealed: “He’s not a great communicator of what’s on his mind. He has this vision and somehow he thinks people will get this vision from him through osmosis. Of course, that doesn’t happen and he says, “Why aren’t they on the same page as me?” He just assumed everyone was with him in his head.”

Being a stuntman is no joke. Every day these stuntmen risk their lives to protect the actors. And well, James Cameron’s rough treatment certainly hurt Peter Kent, as he once said he was treated like a “rag doll” on the sets of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
