Ben Affleck To Return As Daredevil In MCU?

Ben Affleck’s version of ‘Man Without Fear’ Daredevil was released in 2003, but it failed at the box office.

Ben Affleck puts down the Batman suit after The Flash and the film will mark his final outing as DC’s Batman. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be seen wearing superhero outfit again. As per latest media reports, Ben Affleck will be again reprising his role of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars event film.

Considering that MCU is currently exploring multiverse with their latest films Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man No Way Home, MCU trying to bring back Ben as another Daredevil, doesn’t look completely out of place. It can also be expected that Ben Affleck’s role in Secret Wars might be a quick and simple cameo rather than a full-blown supporting role.

Affleck’s version of ‘Man Without Fear’ was released in 2003, but unfortunately, it failed to get the response one expected at that time. This will make it the first time Affleck has portrayed the character since a cameo in 2005’s Jennifer Garner film Elektra.

For the unversed, Charlie Cox is currently playing the role of Daredevil and Matt Murdock in MCU, which he first began on the titular Netflix show in 2015. It will be interesting to see if both the Daredevils ever cross a path.
