‘I’ll Celebrate You Today And Everyday’ Says Orlando Bloom As Fiance Katy Perry Turns 37

The loved-up couple got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019 after rekindling their on-off romance in April 2018.

The 44-year-old Hollywood actor celebrated his fiance Katy Perry’s special day as they celebrated her 37th birthday in Los Angeles on Monday over an intimate dinner. The couple looked madly in love as Orlando Bloom shared an adorable snap on Instagram. Pirates of the Caribbean star shared a candid photo to Instagram of the pair nestling in close to one another at a restaurant, with Orlando gazing fondly at her. He sweetly captioned the candid, “We do life, we do love and it’s fun. I’ll celebrate you today and everyday. I love you,” adding several love-heart emoticons.

In the gorgeous photo, the Troy star dressed casually in a white shirt and embraced his pop star fiancée while seated at a table. Meanwhile, Katy looked stunning in a chic black ensemble and a tiara with the word birthday spelled out and held tightly onto Orlando’s hand as she beamed for the photo. Orlando treated the Firework singer to a lavish dinner. The special day snap is completed with cocktails and a dessert platter with a happy birthday in chocolate icing running across the plate.

The A-list couple is not shy in sharing their love for one another publicly, and are often pictured out and about with their first child together, daughter Daisy, now one. Appearing on Sunday’s Australian 60 Minutes in August last year prior to giving birth, Katy described her relationship with Orlando as ‘solid’. The American songstress went on to reveal her ‘excitement’ at developing an ‘unconditional love bond’ with their daughter.

However, according to DailyMail, when asked by journalist Tara Brown how she would describe her relationship with Orlando, Katy said it’s “very communicative.” “It is a healthy, frictional, very open, very communicative relationship. Nothing is swept under the mat… even to the point where it’s like we should probably walk into the other room if we’re going to discuss something where we disagree, because we’ll just do it in public.” “But, if we can get to the end of our lives together, we’ll be each other’s greatest teachers,” Katy continued. “Dating is different, weekend lovers that’s fun. That’s candy. This is solid. This is like the main course,” she added.

The Last Friday Night singer, who was pregnant at the time of the interview, went on to reveal her thoughts ahead of giving birth. She said, “I’m] just excited for a new adventure, and really grateful that I’ve been able to live already such a great life.” “It’s not all peachy keen jelly bean, let’s be honest. But I’m excited for this human to come in and have an unconditional love bond with,” she continued.

Katy and Orlando first started dating in early 2016 but split in February 2017. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019 after rekindling their on-off romance in April 2018. However, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry proved the spark is well and truly alive. Orlando was earlier married to Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr in 2010 then separated in 2013, and now sharing custody of their son Flynn, 10.
