Hugh Jackman Not Interested In Playing Wolverine Again?

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman revealed that he will not return to any of the upcoming “X-Men” films as Wolverine. Jackman, who in his first Hollywood movie tasted international stardom as Wolverine, admitted that he actually left the franchise at the right time. He added that he is looking forward to some other actor take up the adamantium-clawed mutant’s character in a potential new version. In a recent interview Jackman said, “It was the right time for me to leave the party not just for me, but for the character. Somebody else will pick it up and run with it. It’s too good of a character not to.” From 2000 to 2018, the actor played Wolverine in the X-Men film series, for which he holds the Guinness World Record for “longest career as a Marvel superhero in live action”. His last appearance as the mutant was “Logan,” in the sequel to “The Wolverine” in 2017. Though a comeback sounds amazing, the 51-year-old star said that he would rather not return. Clarifying his statement Hugh said, “It’s kind of like, you’re on your way home and your friend rings you and goes, ‘Oh, dude, a new DJ just came on and the music is awesome, are you going to come back?’ “And you say, ‘Sounds good but no.’ They’re fine with someone else.” Hugh Jackman has won over the hearts of the millions as Wolverine and he was praised by everyone for his credible acting and portrayal of such an intense character. Well, Hugh’s fans will surely be disappointed by this news and will miss their favourite star shinning on the big screen as Wolverine. Maybe all of them will be secretly hoping that Jackman changes his mind and returns to the X-Men movie universe.
