In the era of OTT, there are numerous shows and series that are released every day. Moreover, movies are also getting spinoffs, sequels, prequels, and reboots. Man Of Steel
Starring Henry Cavill as Batman, man Of Steel was the most anticipated movie released in 2013. Despite being DC’s most famous face, the movie didn’t get a sequel with Cavill as fans expected. Fans are still hopeful that Man Of Steel 2 will be released one day.
Edge Of Tomorrow
Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt starring, Edge Of Tomorrow hit theatres back in 2014. Though the movie didn’t make that much of a buzz at the box office, it earned a lot of positive critical reception. Moreover, fans also loved the movie and are still hoping to get a sequel. The movie follows Earth under attack from invincible aliens and Maj. William Cage (Tom Cruise), tries to save the planet but finds himself stuck in a time loop.
Inception
The science fiction action film created a buzz at the box office when it hit in theatres in 2010. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy and Elliot page, Inception’s unique plot was the reason for its success. However, the movies also didn’t get a sequel. If Inception 2 will make in future, which currently seems not possible, the plot can begin where Inception left off. For the unversed, Inception left fans with a big question the scenes are real or dream??
Interstellar
Interstellar was another epic sci-fi movie co-written, directed and produced by Christopher Nolan. Interstellar ended with a satisfying and emotional scene with Matthew McConaughey’s Joseph Cooper finally reuniting with daughter Murphy (Jessica Chastain/Ellen Burstyn). However, many of Nolan’s fans have been expecting a sequel since it came out in 2014. If Interstellar 2 could happen, the story might pick up with Cooper and Amelia colonizing Edmunds’ planet and explore the romance between them that was hinted at in the first film.
