One Direction singer Harry Styles was reportedly mugged at knifepoint and that too, on Valentine’s Day! The shocking crime apparently took place in Hamstead, a few hours before news broke that Harry’s ex-girlfriend during X Factor times, Love Island host Caroline Flack was found dead after her best friend Lou Teasdale went to the shops.
Harry was reportedly not hurt during the incident and unharmed. In fact, he showed up to perform at the BRIT Awards a few days following the scary turn of events.
According to a news portal, the robbery took place late on Friday night at around 11:50 pm in the Hampstead, North London. An insider revealed, “Harry is OK.” London’s Metropolitan Police Service revealed the chilling details to the news portal, “A man in his 20s was approached by another man who threatened him with a knife.”
Police said Styles was “uninjured,” but the criminal robbed his cash. The police are investigating the matter and haven’t got hold of the culprit as yet.
A source tells a leading daily, “Harry was shaken up” after the incident, during which he played it cool.” The soure further added, “Given how Caroline took her own life the next day, the pressures of a new album and a performance at the BRIT Awards this evening, it’s fair to say this is the last thing poor old Harry needed.”
Caroline dated from November 2011 to January 2012, after getting to know each other when Caroline hosted The Xtra Factor.
After their breakup, Harry tweeted, “Caroline is one of the kindest, sweetest people I know.” Styles hasn’t made a comment on the tragic news of Flack’s passing, but wore a black ribbon to the BRIT Awards as an alleged tribute to her.
