Hailey Bieber Thinks The 24 Hours Within Met Gala Are ‘Cursed’ For Her

Hailey Bieber's first Met Gala appearance was in 2015, however, she experienced some major bad luck within the '24 hours' of her first two galas.

Hailey Bieber has been attending the star-studded Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, for the past six years. But the 24-year-old can’t endure the feeling that the event may be ‘cursed’ for her after she experienced some major bad luck within the ’24 hours’ of her first two galas.

While speaking on Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, Hailey Bieber told guest host Yvonne Orji, “The first time I ever went to the Met, the morning after, I twisted my ankle and broke my foot. It was a whole thing!” Hailey’s first Met Gala appearance was in 2015 where she walked the red carpet in a powder blue Topshop mini dress. Hailey said, “I was 18, so this was a long time ago.”

However, later she revealed that a similar injury occurred just hours after attending the 2016 Met Gala in a sequined Tommy Hilfiger gown. “But then the year after, 365 days to the day, because it was midnight of the Met Gala, I broke the same foot. But, the bone next to the one I broke the year before,” she explained.

The model Hailey Bieber famously shared an image of her foot in a boot to her Instagram at the time. “So I had this whole thing in my head where I was like, the night of the Met Gala or the 24 hours within the Met Gala is cursed for me. It happened the two times and it hasn’t happened since the knock on wood,” she concluded.
