Paltrow introduced herself to Bieber and informed her that she knew her father, Stephen Baldwin, from an independent film they both collaborated on in 1994 called “Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle.” Gwyneth said, “He was great, he was so nice,” to which Hailey responded, “Imagine if you had some sort of horror story.” Gwyneth then joked, “Or, like, [what if I said] I f* your dad in the bathroom.”
But it doesn’t imply it hasn’t happened to Gwyneth before, just because she didn’t have a dramatic narrative like that for Hailey. The model admitted, “I’ve had that happen to me, actually. Hailey was assured by Gwyneth that she had “didn’t” have s*x with her father. Hailey responded, “Well, that’s good to know.” The father-daughter pair appear to have a close bond despite any potential difficulty Hailey may experience when meeting people who know her famous dad, who has been in recent series like Gossip Girl.
Even Justin Bieber, the model’s spouse, who Stephen introduced Hailey to back in 2009, gets along with him. After ten, Justin thanked his father-in-law on Instagram for “letting” Hailey marry him. “Me and the wife! and the in-laws!! Thanks for letting ur daughter marry a savage like me, Justin wrote alongside a post he posted back in September 2019.
A source tells Entertainment Tonight that Justin requested Stephen’s approval before popping the question shortly after he and Hailey got engaged in 2018.
The source revealed back then, “Justin wanted to respect tradition, so a couple of weeks ago, while he and Hailey were visiting New York, Justin set aside some time to talk with Stephen. Justin and Stephen have always had a close relationship, and Justin wanted to show his future father-in-law how serious he is about his future with Hailey.”
Surprisingly, as seen in a video that has just reappeared online, Stephen was the one who first introduced his daughter to Justin back in 2009. In 2011, Stephen also accompanied Hailey to the “Never Say Never” movie premiere in New York City, where they took a picture on the red carpet.
