Hailey Bieber shared a heartwarming tribute to her grandmother Carol Baldwin as she recently passed away at the age of 92. The model took to her Instagram and shared a lovely black and white photo of Carol in her youth, in which she was seen turning her head and gazing to the side.
Alongside the snap, Bieber wrote, “Yesterday at 5:52 pm my beautiful Grandma Carol Baldwin, the matriarch of the Baldwin family completed her journey here on earth.” She continued, “Today I celebrate her, the life she lived, and the legacy she leaves behind.” Hailey concluded her post by noting, ‘We love you.’ Carol was the mother of Hailey’s father Stephen Baldwin, Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin, Daniel Baldwin, Elizabeth Keuchler, and Jane Sasso.
The model also took to her Instagram Story to honour her grandmother. She reposted her uncle Alec Baldwin’s Instagram post in which he announced his mother’s death and shared a photo of her as a young teen next to a more recent image. ‘We love you, Grandma,’ Hailey wrote while adding emojis of a white heart and a dove. Hailey Bieber also shared a throwback snap that her sister Alaia had posted earlier in which Carol was seen surrounded by all of her children.
Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber’s father, Stephen, commemorated his mother on his Instagram page, sharing a photo in which she was seen being baptized in 2014. Underneath the image, he wrote, “August 4, 2014, This was the day I knew for sure…I would never have to worry about my mom again!” He continued, “the day before, mom quested from my wife to be baptized so we did, in the beautiful Skaneateles lake Syracuse New York.”
Baldwin continues, “when my mom made this request, I told my wife no worries we’ll do it on our next trip but Kennya said, “no my love we will baptize her tomorrow. thank God for the bold & courageous women in my life but most of all to my mom…who in our friendship we didn’t have to say much as we are similar in our desire to love and serve others. thanks, mom.”
