Selena Gomez may have found a fan in her ex-Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Baldwin! Selena who returned to the American Music Awards stage gave a superb performance of her latest songs “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now.” Hailey was seen liking a video shared by Selena’s makeup artist Hung Vanngo, for that night, where Selena looked gorgeous in glitter-clad eyes and flawless makeup. Hung captioned the video as, “#SelenaGomez x #AMAS2019 ❤️ ⚡️ ✨⭐️,” and she is also seen batting her eyelashes.
Selena looked flawless as she opened the entire awards ceremony by performing her two new songs. Selena performed “Lose You To Love Me” dressed in a full length, long sleeve black gown. Even a black and white filter was added over the songstress while she gave an emotional rendition of the song. But before she left the stage, the whole mood changed to a colour backdrop, where Selena was seen dressed in a short, metallic romper and performed “Look At Her Now.”
And though fans loved her emotional, triumphant performance, there were a few trolls who attacked her. But Selenators came out in support of Selena and showered her with empathy, support and love on the singer. One fan wrote, “It’s been how long since @selenagomez has performed!? I’m sure she was hella nervous singing such personal songs for the first time and we don’t know what she’s going through physically/health wise. I’m not here for the shady tweets ✋.”
During Selena’s performance, fans couldn’t help but think about her tumultuous relationship with Justin, which inspired a few songs in her upcoming album. Justin and Selena dated on and off starting in 2011 but ended it all in March 2018.
