Golden Globes 2022: Check Out The Complete List Of Winners

This year's Golden Globes was held with no red carpet and media, and only 'selected members and grantees' were in the room as the awards were announced.

With a lot of speculation of cancelation, the Golden Globes 2022 award event finally opened. The Power of the Dog and Succession were the big winners at an unusual Golden Globes.

Traditionally, the award ceremony is a glamorous telecast with A-listers in attendance but after a year of controversies surrounding diversity and unethical practices, the HFPA lost its footing in the industry, with publicity firms, studios, and celebrities choosing to distance themselves from the event. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) revealed the winners of the 79th annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California, recognizing film and television from the past year.

Although there was no audience or nominees in attendance at the awards show amid the rapid surge of coronavirus, only ‘selected members and grantees’ were in the room as the awards were announced. Also, there was no red carpet, and media was also not invited to attend, according to the organization.
