Elder sister Gigi Hadid showed gratitude for her younger sibling Bella Hadid as the model turned 25 on Saturday. The model gigi hadid shared a rare photograph of her baby sis holding her one-year-old daughter Khai with her 70.5 million followers on Instagram.
Gigi Hadid, 26, chose a photo that showed only the back of her sister’s and daughter’s heads as they faced toward festive balloons. To go along with the snapshot, the runway model added a heartfelt caption that expressed exactly how appreciative she is of her family member.
“We celebrate you today and every day @bellahadid: She’s my baby sister but also a firecracker of a spiritual bodyguard and a forever protector as an auntie,” she captioned her post. The blue-eyed beauty continues, “I have so much pride watching you take ownership of your growth and fulfillment, and I know everything that you have created for yourself will bring you the year of joy and light you deserve !!!!!! Can’t wait. 25! I love you more every sun-lap.”
The precious family photo shows Bella in a pair of tiny shorts that accentuate the stunner’s pert posterior. Her dark hair is slicked back into two low pigtails separated by a center part that stretches the length of her head. The brunette bombshell holds her niece on her hip, who’s dressed in a white, patterned two-piece set with multicolor Vans sneakers.
In the post, the Vogue cover star gigi hadid also shared a generous spread of food on a table with green and white runners. Also taking to the social media over the weekend was the youngest Hadid, 22-year-old Anwar, who wrote a thoughtful message to his older sister.
“I love u my sister!!!!!! I will always be there for you, thank you for being my friend and the person that you are. U absolutely inspire me every day!” he wrote in an Instagram story. On Saturday night the trio of siblings was seen out in New York City as they stepped out to celebrate Bella’s milestone birthday.
