Disney+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming live-action film Peter Pan & Wendy, which will be based on the classic story by J.M. Barrie and the 1953 animated hit. “We wanted to make a film that was both J.M. Barrie text and Walt Disney’s animated adaptation,” director David Lowery said.
“We wanted to infuse our storytelling with emotional sincerity, an open heart, and a deep desire for adventure.” continued, “Hundreds of incredible artists have spent many years bringing this film to the big screen. According to Disney+, Peter Pan & Wendy once again follow the Darlings magically reach to place far from home in London when they meet Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up. Along with her brothers and a little fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland; as we all know the children’s story.
What’s a story without a villain; so there she meets the evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on an exciting and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.

Jude Law is set to play the legendary pirate villain while Yara Shahidi takes on the role of Tinker Bell. Jim Gaffigan, Alexander Molony, Ever Andersonn, and many other are the complete cast. The story is co-written and the screenplay is by Toby Halbrooks and Jim Whitaker. Peter Pan & Wendy’s comes to Disney+ on April 28th.
