General Hospital Actor Johnny Wactor’s Friend Outlines His Last Brave Moments

Johnny Wactor's friend who was there when he was killed, narrated the entire incident that happened on Friday night at DTLA.

The General Hospital actor, Johnny Wactor, who was shot dead on May 25, had a brave moment before his death. His sudden demise is a big shock for everyone. His friend and co-worker Anita Joy was with him during his last time, and she is the eyewitness of what happened on 25th May in Downtown Los Angeles. Anita has shown courage to put everything in a crystal clear manner in front of everyone as she feels she is Johnny’s voice now.

Taking to Instagram, she opened up that small corner of her heart which belongs to Wactor. Anita Joy posted a carousel of his images and texts where she narrated the entire incident as it is. She captioned the post, “I’ve needed to take some time to collect myself and my thoughts. I was with Johnny in his last moments and I’m here to be his voice after such unimaginable events. His story is in this post as it happened, please swipe through the top photos and read it.” As shocked, saddened and angry by the incident, she wrote, “My friend of 8 years went from laughing together, working side by side, leaving our bartending shift and walking to our cars to him dying in my arms in the streets of DTLA in the dark hours of 3am.”

On Friday night, that group of men was trying to steal the catalytic converter from Johnny’s car. She further mentioned, “We cautiously approached the men, questioning what they were doing, at first thinking the car was being towed. We were no threat and Johnny kept his cool as he always did, simply stating that it was his car and for them to leave.”  37-years-old was standing between her and those men, trying to shield her from any harm. Anita heard a shot ring, and he inclined towards her. “As I grabbed for him, I shouted ‘Hunny you ok?!’ And he only responded, ‘Nope! Shot!”

Right after the incident she screamed for help. Two other coworkers tried to give him CPR. They tied her denim jacket to stop the blood from flowing. She further asked for those 8 men’s arrest. Anita requested a better parking space near their working area and financial help to his family to get him their home through donations.
