Sophie Turner finished 10 years as Sansa Stark on HBO’s popular show Game of Thrones that came to an end last year. The What A Man Gotta Do video starlet is all set to star in Quibi’s drama series Survive based on Alex Morel’s novel of the same title. The trailer for Survive was released on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
Sophie will play the role of Jane, a survivor, who deals with the aftermath of a tragic plane crash as shown in the trailer of the upcoming series that was unveiled last Sunday. Along with other survivor Paul (played by Corey Hawkins), Jane embarks on a journey trying to get through the personal trauma.
“I couldn’t be more honored to portray the role of Jane in Survive for Quibi. She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life but to also find her own source of strength and courage. I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need,” Turner said to a magazine.
