Wonder Woman fame star Gal Gadot has shared her story of overcoming a life-threatening incident while she was eight months pregnant with her baby. Gadot experienced a massive blood clot in her brain during her latest pregnancy. In an Instagram post on Sunday, Gadot reflected on the ordeal, mentioning that how she was diagnosed with the issue and that her fourth child was delivered prior to her emergency surgery to address the condition.
In her instagram post, Gal shared a picture with her newborn and a penned a noticeably long note in the caption. She writes, “In February, during my eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a massive blood clot in my brain. For weeks, I had endured excruciating headaches that confined me to bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed the terrifying truth. In one moment, my family and I were faced with how fragile life can be.” She explained further the incident when she and her family had to rush to the hospital and she had to go through an emergency surgery. She recalled the sensitivity of the time when she gave birth to her fourth daughter, Ori – in an unconventional situation.
The caption further also talked about the meaning of the name of the newborn. “Her name,Ori meaning “my light,” wasn’t chosen by chance. Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel,” she wrote. It is now that Gal Gadot has confirmed of fully recovering to what she went through during those days in the past, and chose the moment to express gratitude to life. Concluding her post, Gadot mentioned that she hopes that sharing her harrowing experience could inspire others to prioritise their health.
