Gal Gadot will forever be remembered as beloved DC superhero Wonder Woman and changing the opinion of female-led movies not doing well at the Box Office. It was time when Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League were not performing well, it was Wonder Woman who helped DCEU sustain. The film was so well received by the audience that the second installment of the same was immediately started.
In a recent interview, the actress recalled the time she got to know that she is going to play Wonder Woman. She said that she was at the New York airport with her husband. She recalled, “And we were both super happy and shouting and screaming, and then I told him toward the end of the conversation after I shoot the movie? I want us to have another baby.” And then when I got home to L.A. he said, “That was such an interesting comment.”
Explaining why her husband made that comment, Gadot said, “If you imagine a kite, right? If it flows really well? My instinct is to tie the string to the ground. It’s hard for me to translate because we were having that conversation in Hebrew. But it’s like the more successful I get, the more I want to plant my roots in and make sure everything is balanced and still focused on the important things in life, which, for me, is family.”
Indeed, post the shoot of Wonder Woman Gal and her husband welcomed their second child, a baby girl in 2017.
On the work front, Gal Gadot will be next seen in Wonder Woman 1984 or WW84 will be releasing this year and once again Gal Gadot fans will see her in their favorite avatar.
