The Satirical Show by Nick Kroll Aims to Tackle Generational Divide with Humor and Insight.

FX has officially greenlit Snowflakes, a new comedy series by Nick Kroll. The show will be produced by FX Productions, and the script will be written by the writers of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Rebecca Shaw and Ben Kronengold.

Snowflakes will focus on a group of millennials navigating life and work in a rapidly changing world. The series aims to delve into the complexities and stereotypes associated with the millennial generation, often labelled as snowflakes for their perceived sensitivity and advocacy for social justice.

Nick Kroll, known for his work on Big Mouth and Kroll Show, will serve as an executive producer with Ben Kronengold, Rebecca Shaw and Alicia Van Couvering via their Good at Business banner. Jonathan Krisel (co-creator of ‘Baskets’), and Stefani Robinson, best known for What We Do in the Shadows and Atlanta, will also be the executive producers for the show.

Snowflakes” will feature a diverse ensemble cast, bringing a wide range of perspectives to the television screen. Lucy Freyer, Malik Elassal, Amita Rao, Owen Thiele, and Jack Innanen play the five housemates in their twenties.

Nick Grad, the president of FX Entertainment shared his excitement for Snowflakes and said that they have assembled an “Exceptional cast” and a “powerhouse comedy team” for the show.

Snowflakes will join FX’s impressive lineup of acclaimed comedy series, including Brian Jordan Alvarez starrer, English Teacher, set to premiere on September 2. The network has a strong track record of producing innovative and thought-provoking content, and Snowflakes is expected to uphold this tradition. Snowflake will replace What We Do in the Shadows, whose final season will be released this September.

The concept of Snowflakes comes at a time when generational discourse is prevalent in media and society. By addressing the stereotypes and challenges faced by millennials with humour and empathy, the series aims to bridge the gap between generations and foster a better understanding of the evolving cultural landscape.
