Florence Pugh Praises Don’t Worry Darling Cast Amid Ongoing Drama

Though Florence thanked all cast and crew of Don't Worry Darling, she didn't mention Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde. Florence did shout out to Chris Pine for being the no.1 photographer.

Don’t Worry Darling has been surrounded by controversies since the beginning. Notably, the drama continues even after the premiere. Florence Pugh recently posted about her film Don’t Worry Darling, but avoided mention of director Olivia Wilde. The actress took to her Instagram to share a series of snaps from the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival including a group shot of the cast.

Alongside the series of snaps, the actress penned a lengthy caption thanking the cast and crew for all their ‘hard work’ and wrote a congratulation to her fellow stars. Florence added, “I’d never been to Venice Film Festival before… It was mega! The crowds! The cheers! The energy was incredible. And to all the cast and crew as well who helped to make this movie, thank you for all of your hard work. We genuinely wouldn’t have been there without your talent and we appreciate it hugely.”

Florence did shout out one member of the cast, adding, “I also just can’t help but post how bloody cute and hilarious Chris Pine is for being the no.1 photographer, getting down on white pressed trousered knees for angles.. now that’s dedication.” Mentioning Chris Pine marks only mentions of Don’t Worry Darling from Florence adding fuel to the rumours of a feud. Pugh recently made seemingly addressed the feud while appearing on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival.

While appearing on the red carpet on Monday evening, Florence was asked by an Italian journalist about what she found ‘inspiring’ in the film. She responded, “I think it’s very very inspiring to see a woman push back and say ‘no’, and question everything. It’s very exciting to see a woman do that on and off camera.” She was then asked when she ‘says ‘no’ off camera, Pugh jokingly said, “When do I say ‘no’? When someone says I can’t have cake.”
