The world currently is witnessing one of the most high-profile, perhaps also, one of the most dramatic celebrity court trials of all time. The Amber Heard v/s Johnny Depp defamation trial has been so in the news lately, that people have even argued how it isn’t less than any ‘fictional’ movie. With drama, suspense, and everything else that each of the trials uncovers, fans keep getting more and more involved in it.
Recently, Amber has been facing a lot of criticisms from people, especially Johnny’s fans, who have accused the actress of defaming Johnny and have hence come together to support him. It all started when Johnny Depp sued ex-wife Amber for $50 million for an op-ed she wrote in 2018. And when the trial began, Amber began with a powerful statement that read, “I struggle to find the words to describe how painful and horrible it is for me to sit here for weeks and relive everything.”
Well, fans were quick to judge something that was fishy, and since then have kept a close eye on Amber, her actions and her words. Loyal fans of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star have come up with theories about how most of Heard’s trial testimonies are actually copied from various movies and TV shows and books such as The Talented Mr Ripley, White Chicks, Notting Hill, Reservoir Dogs, Mildred Pearce, I Am A Killer, Alpha Dog, Maid, and Zombieland.
Another Instagram user commented, “So Amber said Jhonny grabbed a flight attendant’s wrist slammed it down, and said how a few pounds of pressure he could it… something along those lines. Well here’s another scene ripped right out of True Detective season one that sounds very familiar to what she said.”
Amber has been receiving a lot of criticism since the inception of the trial, but it doesn’t stop here, as the actress has now confessed to receiving threats from Johnny’s fans. Talking about the same, Amber revealed to the jury, “I am harassed, humiliated, threatened, every single day. Even just walking into this courtroom. Sitting here in front of the world, having the worst parts of my life, things that I have lived through, used to humiliate me. People want to kill me and they tell me so every day. People want to put my baby in the microwave, and they tell me that.”

She added, “I live my life with these sets of rules I’ve to follow, my friends have to follow for me not to have a panic attack or a triggering event or I relive the trauma, even from training to do. In my movie, for instance, for training for Aquaman, a combat scene and a trigger happen. I have a meltdown and have to deal with that, the crew I work with have to deal with that, because of the damage I walk around with every single day. I am not sitting in this courtroom snickering. I’m not sitting in this courtroom laughing, smiling, or making snide jokes. I’m not. This is horrible.”
