Everything To Know About Black Panther Sequel

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to premiere in theatres on November 11, 2022.

The Black Panther sequel is finally on the way! The highly anticipated sequel was announced by Marvel back in October 2018, with director Ryan Coogler attached to write and direct. However, as the release date of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is near, here are a few details, fans must be eagerly waiting to know.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Plot
In the upcoming sequel, the leaders of the kingdom of Wakanda fight to protect their nation from invading forces in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. However, in a previous interview with a globally digital weekly Hollywood entertainment portal, Angela Bassett, who plays Queen Mother Ramonda, revealed that the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie script is up in the air and also not yet been revealed to anyone as the cast and crew continue to film in Atlanta.

While explaining the same, she said, “I don’t know what it’s going to look like at all. There have been about five incarnations of the script, and I hear another one’s coming.” She added, “Of course, with our dear king Boseman going on to glory, a lot of things had to be shifted and changed. So, thankfully, director Ryan Coogler and writer Joe Robert Cole, they’re just such masterful storytellers that they’ve found a way into this world and hopefully it will be satisfying, I think, for the fans, and it will be honourable to our Chad. We love our king.”

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Cast
Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Florence Kasumba and Gurira all reprise their roles from the first film. The cast of the Blank Panther sequel will also include Tenoch Huerta, Michaela Coel, and Mabel Cadena. Many of the main star cast from 2018’s super hit movie Black Panther would be seen returning for the sequel.

Less likely and also not certain to reprise his role is Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, as that character met his demise in the first film itself.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Release Date
The production of the upcoming sequel began in Atlanta in June 2021. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to premiere in theatres on November 11, 2022.
