Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story finally released on Netflix. The limited 10 episodes series premiere on September 21. The highly anticipated American autobiographical crime drama follows the infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, portrayed by Evan Peters. Dahmer is a murderer of several boys and girls whoes story has been told from a point of view style through the lens of his victims.

The recently released Netflix series created a storm among people since the news broke out of its premiere. Alongside Evan, the crime drama cast includes, Richard Jenkins as Lionel Dahmer, Molly Ringwald as Shari Dahmer, Michael Learned as Catherine Dahmer and Niecy Nash as Glenda Cleveland. The series has been co-created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.

For the unversed, The Milwaukee Cannibal, also known as Dahmer Murder, was a serial killer who insanely murdered around 17 young men between 1978 and 1991. He was later involved in many criminal expeditions, and the murder mysteries were not just scary but dangerous. Netflix limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is not the first series that portrayed the reality of the insane killer.

Previously, a film was released in 2002 based on America’s serial killer. The 2002 film, Dhamer portrays how the insane monster evolves and grows to be the most notorious serial killer of all time. Dhamer’s story has events arranged in a storytelling format where the victim is named Rodney.

Directed by David Jacobson, the film was penned by Jacobson and David Birke. Dahmer was released in limited theatres by Peninsula Films on June 21, 2002. The film was first released in two theatres and grossed $16,093. However, by August 12, 2002, it had expanded to five theatres and grossed $144,008. Dahmer’s international box office collection was $4,227. The 2002 film is currently not available on any streaming platform.
