Eva Mendes recently sparked rumours she secretly tied the knot with her partner of 11 years, Ryan Gosling when she shared a photo of her ‘de gosling’ wrist tattoo. However, after all the wedding speculations, during a radio interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she addressed all the rumours with a very cryptic response.
Mendes was asked, ‘There’s a rumour that you guys might have secretly tied the knot. Is that true?’ In response, Eva said, ‘But who says we weren’t already?’ ‘I like to keep it all mysterious,’ she added with a laugh. The brunette beauty confirmed the tattoo is real after jokingly saying it was a temporary ‘press on’. Mendes continues, “I do have a tattoo. No, it’s not a press-on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I’ve gotten a lot of funny questions.”
Not a while ago, Eva sent social media into a meltdown when she shared a stunning snap of herself holding her arm up to show off the inking on her inner wrist. Many believe the body art is an indication that notoriously private Eva has married Ryan, whom she has been dating since 2011, as in Hispanic culture, married women will often add their husband’s name to their own using ‘de’ which means ‘of’ in English.
However, Eva has shown off the tattoo numerous times on social media including back in September as she snapped the body inking in a beautiful field of flowers. Back in September 2016, rumours swirled that the power couple had secretly married as a source told Us Weekly at the time that they had quietly tied the knot.
The source explained, ‘Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple. They are infatuated with each other.’ Eva and Ryan have two daughters Esmeralda Amada, eight, and Amada Lee, six. The good-looking duo began dating in September 2011 after working together on the film The Place Beyond The Pines. The couple were friends for a ‘long time’ prior to their romantic relationship.
