Emmy Winning Actor Tony Shalhoub & His Wife Test Positive For COVID-19?

Emmy winning actor Tony Shalhoub revealed that he and his wife Brooke Adams got infected with COVID-19 last month in New York. Read below to know more.

Actor Tony Shalhoub revealed about his COVID-19 diagnosis in a recent video he shared with a news portal. The Marvelous and Mrs Maisel actor opened up that he and his wife Brooke Adams contracted the COVID-19 infection in New York last month.

The 66-year old actor said, “It was a pretty rough few weeks but we realize that so many other people have and have had it a lot worse.” The Emmy winning actor shot the video in the living room of his luxurious apartment while his 71-year old wife helped him with the filming of the video.

He further added, “Stay safe and stay sane”, and then he got up and went to applaud and salute the frontline workers and other essential service workers who are working tirelessly in the midst of the global pandemic.  

The first Hollywood celebs to publicly open up about their diagnosis with COVID-19 were Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. The couple contracted the virus while they were shooting for the Elvis Presley biopic in Australia. Post being tested positive for COVID-19, Tom and Rita stayed down under to undergo the treatment. They even rented a place in Australia for the 14-day quarantine period post the recovery before flying back to Los Angeles.

Speaking of Tony Shalhoub, he has acted in various Hollywood movies and TV shows like- Monk, Wings, Galaxy Quest and Men In Black 2.

In one of the videos shared with the news portal, Shalhoub enacted as the Monk to show how he would have reacted in such times of crisis.
