After a year of no red carpet, Emmy Awards marked the return to an in-person ceremony. Last year the event was organized virtually amid a pandemic. From the stars of The Queen’s Gambit to The Crown, everyone brought their fashion A-game and left fans feeling borderline emotional over their jaws dropping looks.

The biggest television show was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The ceremony took place at the Event Deck at L.A. Live. The biggest night moved to an indoor-outdoor venue this year due to the pandemic. Here we have selected five major looks that amused the fans.

American actress and producer Kaley Cuoco attends the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California. Kaley arrived in a neon yellow custom Haute couture dress is by Vera Wang. The show-stopping dress features floral-embellished straps, a slit, and a billowy train.

Canadian actor-director and comedian, Dan Levy delivered the expected look and left the audience in awe. He was wearing a monochromatic blue dress. His ensemble takes the fans back to a major 90’s trend that you were probably missing. He wore a layered wrap blazer, dress shirt, and pants all were the same shade of blue, while he kept his signature glasses black, matching his platform shoes.

I May Destroy You star Michaela Coel opted to wear a neon yellow Christopher John Rogers two-piece dress. The elegant look was composed of a knee-length column skirt in cotton twill and a neon bralette top. She embellished her with perfectly paired pumps and gorgeous jewelry with natural pearl drop earrings and a jewel-encrusted necklace.

Emmy-winning Pose star Billy Porter truly outdid himself for Emmy 2021. He just stunned his fan with a fairy godmother look. He seems ready to take flight in a sensational black jumpsuit with mega-ruffled sleeves. His all-black getup featured long sleeves, gloves, pants, and dramatic ruffled wings on each of his arms. Porter owned the red carpet dripping in jewels as he finished his look with a giant, show-stopping diamond and emerald necklace, two diamond bracelets and several rings, and a sparkling ear cuff.

The Nailed It host, Nicole Byer walked the red carpet in a stunning purple gown by Christian Siriano, which turned heads for all the right reasons. The low-key resembles a fashionable loofah and the gown features two layers of fabric. The first layer mounting her shoulders, while the second creates a tumbling train. The ruffles add to the gown’s magical vibe.
