Actress Emma Roberts currently enjoying her pregnancy. It was back in the month of August that she announced about her expecting a baby with actor Garrett Hedlund. After the news broke out, many of their fans showered lots of good wishes for embracing parenthood. While some celebrated the news, it led to a war between Emma and her mother Kelly Cunningham. Moreover, it is because of the war that Emma Roberts blocked her mother on Instagram.
For the unknown, instead of Emma or Garrett, it was Kelly who revealed the former’s pregnancy.
The fact that her mother revealed her pregnancy without her consent didn’t go well with Emma. Out of frustration, Emma Roberts blocked her mother on Instagram.
In her recent appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Emma Roberts shared some funny stories of her mother Kelly Cunningham.
The Scream 4 actress even revealed that it was Kelly who bought her the first iPhone. However, it backfired on her after a while. Emma said, “I was, like, ‘Now we can FaceTime and iMessage. And like, how sweet. And it was the worst thing I ever did.”
Spilling the beans what was her reaction after knowing that her mother revealed the news of her pregnancy, Emma said, ‘disaster’ because now everyone knew.
Emma confessed, “It was a disaster. And I found it all out on a plane. So, I couldn’t get to her. Like, I couldn’t call her or attack her. I could just iMessage with her and DM her and ask her to please stop.”
Furthermore, Emma reveals that when she asked her mother why she revealed her pregnancy, Kelly said, ‘Emma, you announced it.’
After hearing her mother’s reply, Emma said, “No, I didn’t. That was a tabloid.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t clear.’ “I blocked her at one point. It was my only weapon. She texted me at 2:00 a.m., ‘Queen, did you block me? Sad face.’ I was like, ‘Yes, I did block you.’ Then I unblocked her. It’s been an Instagram war with my mother that I never saw coming. A good story to tell the baby.”
Well, it seems like now all is well between Emma and her mother. Obviously, the pregnancy reveal did cause the chaos but anyhow Emma doesn’t seem affected by it now.
