Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla Presley, confirmed the death of her beautiful daughter, Lisa.

Singer and songwriter, Lisa Marie Presley, has died at the age of 54. She was the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Lisa was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and was said to be in a coma following a ‘full cardiac arrest’ shortly after she had been complaining about stomach pains, as reported by TMZ.

Meanwhile, Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, said in a statement, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. Priscilla continues, “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Lisa Presley’s death comes just two days after she was spotted with her mom at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hills Hilton where Austin Butler won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of her father in a biopic titled, Elvis.

Who was Lisa Marie Presley?
For the unversed, Lisa Marie Presley was the only daughter of Hollywood icons, Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 1, 1968, exactly nine months after Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding. She was going to turn 55 this year. Lisa Marie was briefly raised in the area before moving to Los Angeles at age 4 with her mother following her parents’ divorce in 1973. Meanwhile, Lisa’s father Elvis died in August 1977 when she was 9 years old. She then moved in with her grandparents.

Following their respective deaths in 1979 and 1980, she became the sole heir and also inherited her father’s Graceland residence. In October 1988, Lisa Marie exchanged vows with a musician, Danny Keough, with whom she shared two children, a daughter Riley and a son Benjamin. However, in May 1994, they got divorced.

Soon after her divorce, Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson got married. Their relationship didn’t last long and Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson ended their relationship just two years after getting married. Later in 2000, Lisa Marie met actor Nicolas Cage. Two years later, Lisa Marie and Nicolas Cage married during an intimate ceremony on the 25th anniversary of Elvis’ death. However, less than four months after their wedding, Lisa and Nicolas announced they were splitting.

Lisa’s fourth wedding came in 2006 to Michael Lockwood, with whom she shared twin daughters, Harper and Finley. Unfortunately, this wedding also didn’t last long and Lisa Marie filed for divorce in June 2016 and finalized it in 2021. However, since their separation, the two have been embroiled in an ongoing custody battle over their children.

On the work front, Lisa Marie Presley walked in the footsteps of her father Elvis. Lisa was a great singer and song-write and released three albums, 2003’s To Whom It May Concern, 2005’s So What and 2012’s Storm & Grace. Her first album went on to become gold-certified for over 500,000 units sold in the United States.
