Who was Lisa Marie Presley?
For the unversed, Lisa Marie Presley was the only daughter of Hollywood icons, Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 1, 1968, exactly nine months after Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding. She was going to turn 55 this year. Lisa Marie was briefly raised in the area before moving to Los Angeles at age 4 with her mother following her parents’ divorce in 1973. Meanwhile, Lisa’s father Elvis died in August 1977 when she was 9 years old. She then moved in with her grandparents.

Following their respective deaths in 1979 and 1980, she became the sole heir and also inherited her father’s Graceland residence. In October 1988, Lisa Marie exchanged vows with a musician, Danny Keough, with whom she shared two children, a daughter Riley and a son Benjamin. However, in May 1994, they got divorced.

Soon after her divorce, Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson got married. Their relationship didn’t last long and Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson ended their relationship just two years after getting married. Later in 2000, Lisa Marie met actor Nicolas Cage. Two years later, Lisa Marie and Nicolas Cage married during an intimate ceremony on the 25th anniversary of Elvis’ death. However, less than four months after their wedding, Lisa and Nicolas announced they were splitting.

Lisa’s fourth wedding came in 2006 to Michael Lockwood, with whom she shared twin daughters, Harper and Finley. Unfortunately, this wedding also didn’t last long and Lisa Marie filed for divorce in June 2016 and finalized it in 2021. However, since their separation, the two have been embroiled in an ongoing custody battle over their children.

On the work front, Lisa Marie Presley walked in the footsteps of her father Elvis. Lisa was a great singer and song-write and released three albums, 2003’s To Whom It May Concern, 2005’s So What and 2012’s Storm & Grace. Her first album went on to become gold-certified for over 500,000 units sold in the United States.
