Ever since The Kissing Booth premiered on Netflix in May 2018, fans have been following all the adventures and shenanigans of Elle Evans (Joey King) with lots of fervor and scepticism and finally three years later this trilogy has finally come to an end with The Kissing Booth 3 which got released on global giant OTT streaming platform Netflix on 11th August 2021 and so this is a question everyone might be having that do Elle and Noah get together in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 3.
It’s true that whilst fans might be feeling really sad and mellow about The Kissing Booth franchise coming to an end but certainly it also got them thinking that do Elle and Noah get together in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 3.
The most discussed topic and question plaguing every fan and netizen’s mind right now could be that do Elle and Noah get together in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 3.
Throughout entire TKB (The Kissing Booth) franchise, Elle has had two major dilemmas and problems in which the first one was deciding which university should she attend: Harvard or Berkeley and second one is her trying to figure it out about which brother is more important to her Noah (Jacob Elordi) who is her boyfriend that is attending Harvard or Lee (Joel Courtney) who is her longtime BFF from childhood with whom she had made a promise to attend Berkeley many years ago.
Filmed and shot back to back, The Kissing Booth 3 starts off from where it left off in the second part which was right after Elle and Lee’s high school graduation and also right before going out to college with a newly mended relationship both the BFF’s get across a beach bucket list which they both had written in their childhood that they both then decide to complete in order to make it the best memorable summer of their lives ever.
Besides the fun summer siesta and galore time along with briefly rekindled love triangles shown in the film, it also gives answers to our two burning questions which might not be what the netizens and viewers could expect as towards the end of the film, Elle chooses neither of them both but decides to give priority by choosing herself but with a little help from Noah, who breaks up with her so as not to pressure her to follow him to Harvard.
One might think the unexpected breakup will push her closer to Lee but nonetheless, she ultimately ends up going to neither Harvard nor Berkeley, but USC where she majors in video game design.
While this means Elle and Noah’s love story does come to an end during the film, the pair do cross paths once again after a six-year time jump at their old high school’s fundraiser and we really see how intensely do the sparks fly, though not as fierce in the first move. It’s a little open to interpretation as to whether they’ll reunite for good, but hey, time does heal all (bucket-list inflicted) wounds.
